We went to Raygen’s Newbridge site in Victoria and we successfully captured the world’s first outdoor photoluminescence images of concentrated photovoltaic systems!

Dr Fandi Chen joined the group as a Research Fellow. Welcome Fandi!

We joined the PV School of the Yangtze Institute for Solar Technology and delivered four lectures on luminescence imaging at two companies. We also visited our industry partners at Jinko and Canadian Solar.

Our recent work on field-testing perovskite solar cells using photoluminescence-based implied open-circuit voltage imaging under full sunlight has been featured in pv magazine Australia.

Yan’s new paper “Dynamic calibration of injection-dependent carrier lifetime from time-resolved photoluminescence of thin-film photovoltaic semiconductors" has been published in Progress in Photovoltaics.

The ACDC team won four awards at the IEEE PVSC in Montreal! Zhiwen received Best Student Paper Award, while Sijin, Shuai, and Ali won Best Poster Awards in their respective areas. Well done, all!
