Education:

2026 – Now: Doctor of Philosophy in Photovoltaic Engineering (UNSW)

2021 – 2025: Bachelor of Materials Science (VNU Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam)

Research interests:

  • Tandem solar cells

  • Optical characterisation

  • Semiconductor materials

Why is your research important?

My research focuses on advancing tandem solar cells, the next generation of photovoltaics. Understanding the fundamental bottlenecks that currently prevent these cells from being commercialised in the industry is crucial. By overcoming these challenges, we can make solar energy more affordable and accessible, encouraging more people to shift toward clean energy.

Why do you like research?

Research is a powerful journey that teaches me how to discover new scientific things through reading and experiments. I love the process of testing my ideas and, most importantly, contributing to making our world a greener place!

What do you like to do when you are not saving the world?

I enjoy playing badminton, travelling, and exploring nature.
