Employment experience:

2026: Electrical Engineering Intern (BT Imaging, Australia)

Education:

2026 – Now: Master of Philosophy in Photovoltaic Engineering (UNSW)

2022 – 2026: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (UNSW)

Research interests:

  • Soiling distribution detection in PV modules

  • Capacitive sensors

Why is your research important?

My research focuses on using capacitive sensors to detect surface contamination, or soiling, on PV modules. Reliable and low-cost sensing can help improve condition monitoring and reduce unnecessary maintenance, thereby contributing to more efficient and sustainable operation of PV systems.

Why do you like research?

I enjoy research because it allows me to turn an idea into something that can be tested and improved. I especially like the process of understanding why a system behaves the way it does and using experiments and engineering analysis to solve practical problems.

What do you like to do when you are not saving the world?

I enjoy working out and gaming.
